All these words like Aryan invasion, Indus civilisation, Mohanjadharo settlements, etc.

All these words like Aryan invasion, Indus civilisation, Mohanjadharo settlements, etc. don't mean much to me. There is nothing called Indus valley civilization or Aryans or some isolated mohanjadaro settlements. Also there was nothing called Hindu. I would rather look at the excavations of Dwaraka more seriously than anything else.   People were not just living near river Sindhu (Indus) - they were all around in Assam, Combodia, Kasi, Gandhara, Persia, Dwaraka and around Narmada, Saraswati, Ganga, Yamuna, Godhavari rivers and even in south of India - Chera kings from Tamil nadu have supplied Rice during Mahabharata war - for all these proof is in Mahabharata - which and our ancestors are the ones I trust - It is easy to trust the source of Mahabharata than any western historian as the intention is not to occupy our lands and rule us. More over Mahabharata is history (itihasa means iti-like this, iha-here, aasa-happened) and first-hand witness of Maharishi Vyasa.     Veda was just

Kimsvit Vriksha, kimsvit Vanam - Brahmasvit Vriksha Brahmasvit Vanam - Varuna - Brighu samvaada in Veda... (what sort of thing is Tree what sort of thing is forest - Tree is indeed God and Forest is indeed God) The Tree - a true mystery of nature... Is there any equivalent of a Tree in other genres of lifeforms that we see - Animals, Birds, Insects, Microbes, Sea creatures, in none of the forms there is an equivalent of Tree. A Tree is not just another life form, it is a huge Organic space for life to thrive - very similar to Soil and Water in its role on the face of earth. The earth is covered by Water, Sand or Soil - of these water and soil only can support lifeforms and the soil is protected by Tree with foliage - sort of a protection mechanism to maintain the order (Rta) of LIVING. Vedic teachings are forgotten and thus the widespread ecological damage and decline of Mankind... Particularly in Bhaarata we have forgotten the teaching itself where is the question of practice !.

What should we know but truth?

Thinking, man knows; unthinking, he cannot know. Therefore think . With faith, man thinks; faithless, he cannot think. Therefore have faith . From devotion, man gets faith; without devotion, he has none. Have devotion . When man acts, he gets devotion; without action, he has none. So Act . Man acts when he gets happiness; without happiness, he does nothing. Find happiness . Man gets happiness from the unlimited; from the limited, none. Find the unlimited . Where man finds a thing, sees nothing else, hears nothing else, knows nothing else, that is the unlimited ; where he finds a thing, sees something else, hears something else, knows something else, that is the limited. The unlimited is immortal; the limited is mortal. The unlimited depends on nothing. - From Chandogya Upanishad

Some have given due credit to Indian Science and Swami and some totally ignoring the source and scientific ethics. The two pictures attached are taken from the document, to give you a bird's eye view of Swami Vivekananda's ideas. This is an important document to get a bird's eye view of Swamiji as a Rishi (Rishi in Samskrit also means the one who understands the Ryta or Scientist) - very well written by Sri. Rajiv Malhotra of Infinity Foundation, with assistance from Sri. Kartik Mohan and edited by Swami Shuddhidananda of Sri. Ramakrishna Mission

As a person when in the arms of a beloved, is not aware of what is within and what is without. So is with a person who is in union with the Self --- unknown of what is within and what is without. There is no desire to be fulfilled and one goes beyond sorrows. In that state of oneness, there is neither thief nor monk, neither worlds nor gods not even scriptures, no low no high. Our attitude has been the biggest hurdle in our quest - be it anything including the journey towards Moksha - we are lacking in sincerity and seriousness. I salute many Westerners they score in these 2 areas - we also behave like cowards - to much focussed on commercial aspects of life. All parents want their children to - study so called English medium in school - even after studying for 12 years they can write a meaningful note on a particular topic - all copy paste from Web, and then Engineering in colleges - no use, they can't even change the fuse in their houses, get campus selected  and get into some IT company - still worse, they need to be trained  for a minimum of 12-18 months before they become productive, go to  US to make Greenbacks - too short sighted and focused only on money while they are there - don't go to courses to upgrade knowledge, add futher technical, managerial and linguistics skills, they don't go and enroll in to some University programmes for hig

Veda and Gita:- Generally in Samskrita Shastra circles (before Muslim invasion may be after invasion also) - people (Shastragnaah) didn't take Purasnaas seriously (means the Purana is not taken as evidence by majority of Scientists). But Itihaasa - which literally means history - Ramaayanam and Mahabhaaratam falls in the catogory of Itihaasa. - iti (like this) iha (here) aasa (happened /was). The two writers of Itihaasa - Maharishi Vaalmiki and Maharishi Vyasa - both lived in that period along with the people whose story they had written, lot of historical /astronomical evidence are now coming to limelight now like the undersea excavation by Ocean technology scientists found Dhwaraka (not just a city a province itself). Thus Krishna existed in physical form. Coming to Gita and Krishna /Brahma (root - Brahman and the not the word brahmaa /brahmam) Vyasa being the most respected Maharishi (means a great scientist - both objective and subjective science) witnessed all events first han

Different Swaras, and Wyanjanas ( all letters) in Sanskrit can they be given as input to Computer and could it be decided which particular combinations acts as a co-therapy for a particular disease...based on the ancient knowledge of mantras and  classical music (which says a particular raga for particular disease). Training a computer with this type of knowledge can give some input for particular combination of letters which might be in music form or hymn form would act as a co-therapy.

With respect to this Prapancha (universe) which is primarily made up of Pancha Bhoota (the name itself states it is pra-pancha) - shastra refers to this as "Prakriti" -  Jagat and Vishwa these 2 words also in one sense means world and in other sense the meaning is universe. - Rtam (Rytam) - the order is the way this exists. Prakriti also manifolds in multiple forms and shapes. Pancha Bhoota is linked to human beings with Pancha Tanmaatras - five senses. This is also referred to as Shakti The sixth thing that governs this Prapancha is conciousness - that which governs prakriti is "Purusha". - the creation takes place with the unification of Prakriti and Purusha in language it is Prakriti (root /stem) and Pratyaya (suffix - suffix is a bad translation however as no alternative I use it) -thus language is in a way the world or universe - we think in words (meanings), we see in words (meanings), we understand every thing in words (meanings). Thus Mahakavi Kalidasa says

Gorakshakah become Gorakha (Gorakhpur) and a community - Gorkhas.

Gorakshakah become Gorakha (Gorakhpur) and a community - Gorkhas. Go means both Cow and Veda. Thus Gorakshaka /Gopala is both protector of Cow and Vedas. The first mantra in Yajurveda is about Cow and Calfs. Now how to do Veda Samrakshanam. Veda samrakshanam doesn't happen by talking about it - even in the absense of a protector Vedas survived - how it was residing the tongues, minds of people - the best way to protect. However Vedic Rishis have deviced 3 kinds of protection and they created 6 tools for that - they are called Vedangaani (Veda angas). For svaroopa samrakshnam (the form as it is) - Shiksha shastram and Chandas shastram; For artha samrakshanam (meanings and their interpretations) - Nirukta shastram and Vyakarana shastram; For karma /aacharana samrakshanam (to do karma as per veda or live as per the instructions of Veda) - Kalpa Shastram and Jyotisha shastram. Here Kalpa is devided into 3 - Grihya, Shulbha, Dharma. Grihya deals with the individual's Varna-Ashrama d
