Defects and merits of Christianity , Hinduism, Islam

Defects and merits of Christianity , Hinduism, Islam Hinduism has two defects. The first is that all the rituals are not conducted in the mother tongue. The rituals involve hymns in Sanskrit. In the ancient days, Sanskrit was the mother tongue of the sages. They understood the meaning of the rituals and were very much interested in God. Every ritual explains about God only directly are indirectly. Today the rituals are like the dead bodies without life. Their real aim and purpose is lost. Not even a trace of devotion is developed through any ritual. At least the priest should translate the hymns and should create interest in the ritual. If you observe the other religions, this defect does not exist because all their rituals are performed in their mother tongue. This is the reason for the sincere devotion in Christianity and Islam. Added to this, like Ghee for fire, the concept of only one present human birth in the other religions has developed tremendous interest in God due to fear. I

Prof.

Prof. Sri. Ganesh's writing, and interesting read on certain Vedic truths. Though I don't agree to everything in verbatim to what Prof. says, but the differences are subtle and deep in nature and those are not apt for highlighting here. Having said that, I say that I largely agree with view he has given. http://indiafacts.co.in/the-pillars-of-indian-culture-%E1%B9%9Bta-%E1%B9%9B%E1%B9%87a-dharma/ http://indiafacts.co.in/the-pillars-of-indian-culture-%E1%B9%9Bta-%E1%B9%9B%E1%B9%87a-dharma

God is everywhere!

God is everywhere! Recently I joined four Wheeler training in my place, as as you all know that for the beginners They only give steering and he sits besides you and has breaks, clutch and accelerator. For couple of days it Will make you feel that you are driving But fact is the other guy is doing that. Similarly we humans think that we do Everything But in reality It's the God who is driving: ) . As long as he drives things Will be safe. But when when we try to take the entire control or think that we are the doers, we fall into trouble. My goodness How much truth is there in our vedas isn't it. How come people just claim that there is no God and all. God save them. And us and be our best driver for our lives just like krishna driving arjuna to be victorious. God you are just awesome man!!!!!!!!!!!

Kriyayoga ( a compound word) - this is very complex thing to understand because this is a compound word - which can have many splits (the split of a compound produces a sentence). Based on the context one can split the compound in multiple ways - in each way of split the meaning changes subtly to greatly and the associated purport also changes accordingly. I. - The first type of split - "Karmadharaya"  (1) Kriya eva yogaH - means the kriya itself is Yoga. (2)  Kriya ca asau yogaH ca - means kriya and also yoga. (3) Kriya iti yogaH - the yoga which is known as kriya. In all these karmadharaya splits (where the meanings differ sometimes subtly some times greatly) - However this split doesn't differentiate greatly between Kriya and Yoga. In all these the word Kriya is synomimous with the word Karma (action). Please note the word Karma also means a cause and effect force that determines destiny of a person. However the trick is to understand the the etymological meanings (Yog

Tapah svAdhyAyeshvara PranidhAnani Kriya Yogah 2.1

Tapah svAdhyAyeshvara PranidhAnani Kriya Yogah 2.1 Kriya yoga is Tapas, svadhyaya, Ishvara Pranidhana. We must begin with Kriya Yoga, as this sutra is describing Kriya Yoga, not the Kriya yoga of Yogananda or some marketing statement about a yoga system. Rather is a reference to the 'yoga of action', where kriya means action. In this yoga of action there are three primary qualities: 1. Ishvara Pranidhana--surrendering to a supreme being. This is also requires a release of all fruits of action. This can also be applied as Bhakti Yoga-the Yoga of devotion. Additionally, it involves a surrender of the ego. 2. Svadhyaya--commonly this is translated as study of sacred texts. This interpretation appeals more to the masses. But we have taken it extremes as it was originally intended to be yogic and Hindu sacred texts. In the Puranas (I believe it was the Garuda or Vayu Purana, it is specifically stated that svadhyaya should be study of the Vedas). Rishi Vyasa states this can be study

Hindus mostly cremate the dead bodies. But the bodies of a Yogi or Sanyaasi is either buried or drowned in river. My question is, if this is the practice in case of Sanyaasis or Yogis, then why in the Ishavasya Upanishad, the last 2 verses call upon Agni to burn the body?
Within portions of the Rg Veda, Dharma is a synonym for Agni.
