Below that is my opinion I wrote in a forum for your information. ----------------------------------- News item: "As a PhD student at Harvard, Rohan Murty, son of Infosys co-founder N.R. Narayana Murthy, started reading translations of ancient Sanskrit texts, discovering, as he says, the depth of intellectual thought in ancient India. At around the same time, Sheldon Pollock, Arvind Raghunathan professor of South Asian studies at Columbia University, was on the hunt for a “bhoja raj” who would help him set up an upgraded version of the Clay Sanskrit Library—which has translated more than 50 Sanskrit texts into English. Pollock was its general editor." -------------------------------- I write the opinion of the above news in English so that more people understand (this statement itself proves the pathetic condition in which we

God is never converted into any imaginable item

God is never converted into any imaginable item The Unimaginable God is never – converted in to imaginable item of  Creation, even energetic forms – of God are not exceptional to this point. Narayana was a sage, a liberated soul, - got the opportunity to be charged By God permanently to maintain world, - Shiva was an angel ruling the  Northeast corner, charged by God for – dissolution of world, Brahma is Similarly energetic form containing – first created soul charged by God  To create the world, anywhere – no conversion of God into soul. The same story applies to human incarnations, – God and liberated soul.

God and soul differ in the concept of unimaginable nature

God and soul differ in the concept of unimaginable nature Valabhinabhovat sparshabhedo nohyataavisheshaat. (As in the case of the roof of the house and sky, there is difference in the effort to touch.  God and soul differ in the concept of unimaginable nature). There are some unimaginable items, which can become imaginable after some time by putting some special effort of understanding.  The awareness is such unimaginable item that can be slowly understood by scientific analysis.  By this, you cannot generalize that every unimaginable item becomes imaginable by putting special effort.  There can be a really unimaginable item which can never be understood by any effort.  For example, the roof of the house cannot be touched by your hand.  But by long practice of high jumps, one day, you may touch the roof.  By this, you cannot generalize and say that you can touch anything by effort.  You cannot touch the sky by putting any amount of tedious effort even through out your entire life.   Th

Nervous system is required for the conversion of energy into awareness

Nervous system is required for the conversion of energy into awareness  Kriyaaparinaamepi nadi vidyutprabhava iva vyatyayepi. (Even in the conversion of work into inert energy the nervous system is required like the turbine for the generation of electricity.  Even in the reverse, the nervous system is essential). The work can be converted into inert energy as in the case of conversion of mechanical energy through a turbine into electrical energy.  The mutual inter conversion of work and worker (awareness and inert energy) is not denied.  When you think deeply, heat is generated on the head indicating the conversion of awareness into inert energy.  But for such conversion the existence of brain and nervous system is essential.  We have no objection if you say that the awareness (assuming Atman represents awareness) or work is converted into inert energy or space (Akaasha) as per Veda.  But, the nervous system is required for the conversion of energy into awareness or vice-versa.   Witho

One must know God as unknown

One must know God as unknown  Atmaadrushyate gitassa ubhayatra shrutisamanvayaat. (The soul is visualized but not God.  In Gita, in both places God is spoken.  The analysis needs reference to Vedic correlation). Veda says that the soul is understood by shrewd analysis and here the soul is the subject and not God (Drushyate tvagrayaa..).  Here, the subject cannot be God since Veda again says that God can never been understood by intelligence and analysis (Namedhayaa…, Naishaatarkena…). Otherwise, there will be contradiction between two Vedic statements.   In Gita, Krishna says that nobody can understand Him (mamtuvedana…) and here the subject is God.  Again, Krishna says that some blessed soul can understand Him essentially (Kaschitmam….).   Here also the subject is God.  This appears to be a contradiction.  But the word ‘essentially’ means that God existing in human incarnation can be realized as unimaginable after filtering the entire medium. It again means that God is unimaginable.

Food is the source of the soul

Food is the source of the soul Annabhavah prachurayavikarasamanvayo bhaago jivaatmaa. (The Jiva and Atman are modifications of matter or food only forming a part of creation only and the senses of plenty and modification can be correlated).   The inert energy devoid of all qualities of life is the soul (Atman), which is Nirgunam. This inert energy in association of nervous system is transformed into a special type of work or awareness by which the transportation of information to the brain through nerves takes place.  The chip storing the essential information running for the past millions of births is called as Jiva or individual soul.  When the food is taken, it is converted into inert energy with the help of oxygen and this inert energy is converted into awareness or work in the nervous system.   The capability of transportation of knowledge depends on the available inert energy.  The information existing in the chip is also transported to the brain and this strong information influ

Financial Corruption in India

Financial Corruption in India [What is the reason for India not developing compared to Christian and Islamic countries?] O Learned And Devoted Servants of God, The basic reason is only corruption that always hinders the development of the country, which is based on the public works like construction of dams etc. If you see the construction of dam by Mr. Arthur Cotton on Godavari River, there is no much damage even after 100 years. But if you see the public constructions like roads and dams done by Indians, their lifetime sometimes is only a few days! Does this mean that Arthur Cotton was not as intelligent as Indians to do corruption in the project? The lack of corruption does not show the lack of intelligence in his case. It shows only his awareness of right spiritual knowledge as the background.  Similarly, we don’t see much corruption in Islamic countries. Why corruption is in its climax in India only? Does this mean that there is no spiritual knowledge in India? We say that the spi

Purana - Pura (old) api (also) Navam (new) - 3 things are witnessed by Acharyas with respect to Purana

Purana - Pura (old) api (also) Navam (new) - 3 things are witnessed by Acharyas with respect to Purana 1. Recensions (versions) 2. Interpolations (some sloka or parts are added) 3. Continuously updated - Bhavishyat Purana was even updated till 1000 years back Purana like Bhagavata, Vishnu, Agni, Vayu, Shiva, Skaanda are very old and Purana like Bhavishyat are new. These are based on the updations and not on when they were started. Staring time of Purana can't be established as Purana is very old and also new. It is not Itihasa [iti - like this, iha - here (or ha - indeed), aasa - happened] means history. This is the reason why Purana is not taken as a Pramana (evidence) in our shastra /jnana parampara. What are the Pramana(s): Veda or Shruti  - All Aastika shastra traditions accept shruti pramana.  In the past one is considered as Aastika only if that person accepts Vedas as Pramana. Now Aastika means a God believer - this is actually wrong notion. 1. Pratyaksha (Sensory perception

Veda as reference

Veda as reference There are several religions and there are several scriptures corresponding to these religions. We must fix a scripture as the primary standard so that other scriptures can be standardized with reference to that. The other scripture also becomes standard with reference to which some other scripture can be also standardized. This is called as the process of standardization in Science. Such a primary standard can be the Veda. I know immediately the colours of your faces will change. Immediately you will blame Me that I am not the preacher of Universal Religion. You will misunderstand Me as the preacher of Hinduism in guise. This situation will arise even if I take the scripture of some other religion also as the primary standard. The misunderstanding is inevitable and unavoidable. I have to take one scripture of some religion and I have to be subjected to the criticism. Therefore, I ignore the criticism. I know what I am in My inner consciousness. My inner self is the re

Praying God to solve a problem is the most foolish path of ignorance

Praying God to solve a problem is the most foolish path of ignorance God optimize the sequence of fruits of deeds of a soul God created this world with happiness and misery, which are alternating in the cycle like the plates in a moving wheel. God arranged the fruits of good and bad deeds in alternating manner even though good or bad deeds are done in a long sequence.  This reshuffled arrangement of happiness and misery resembles the sweet and hot dishes in the meals and also resembles to a cinema containing both scenes of happiness and tragedy in alternating manner.  Such system of alternating arrangement gives continuous entertainment not only to God but also to the individual soul.  Thus, the basic intention of the God is only to entertain Himself and also all the individual souls. Anything, either happiness or misery bores, if it is continuous.  Boring itself is misery.   If you have compelled God to give happiness continuously though your prayers and worship, God will drag the hap

Saama Veda

Saama Veda Saama veda is the third Veda (of the 4 Vedas Rk, Yajush, Saama, Atharva) - these classifications are applicable only in Kali Yuga or the Kali era which started about 5117 years back - from the day of Sri. Krishna left the body.  There were over 24 Shakhaas (shakhaa does not mean branch but means recension whenever it is referred with respect to Veda) were there for Saama veda as per Pundits. However we have got now only 3 Shakhaas  - Kautuma, Jaimineeya and Ranayaneeya. सहस्रवर्त्मा सामवेदः - Meaning 1000 methods are there for singing Saama ganam. One of the method is as per the Veda-Acharya who explains in this video The person reciting Saama gaana is referred to as सामगः [Saamaga - means a singer of Saaman (stem) or Saama (word)]. The ancient Shaman priests or nature worshipers of Central Asia and Russia and Incas, Mayans are descendants of Vedic Saamaga pandits  or learnt from Saamaga pandits - read about Shaman elsewhere and how they are able to communicate with Spirits

GOD COMES TO THIS WORLD TO PREACH DIVINE KNOWLEDGE-BUT NOBODY CARES HIM!

GOD COMES TO THIS WORLD TO PREACH DIVINE KNOWLEDGE-BUT NOBODY CARES HIM! As already told, the best worship in this world is the worship of the present alive relevant human form  directly. The identification of such human incarnation is by Its  wonderful knowledge only. The reason is that the true knowledge alone can lead you to the goal in the spiritual path. Miracles should not be taken as the identification because miracles only mislead you in the wrong direction since you are always tempted to use the miraculous power to solve your selfish problems. Moreover, miracles are exhibited even by demons and evil people having black magic also by attaining the power of God.  The power of God is transferrable but not the knowledge of God. Hence, the Vedas say that knowledge alone is the identification mark of God (Satyam Jnanam…, Prajnanam…).  Knowledge is said to be the characteristic of Sattvam. This does not mean that the incarnations of the deity of Sattvam, Lord Vishnu, alone preach kno

Satguru preaches Complete & True Knowledge O Learned and Devoted Servants of God, Guru means the preacher, who removes the ignorance so that we can see the truth clearly and differentiate the right from wrong. The ignorance is like darkness in which you cannot find the existence of an item and also you cannot differentiate the different items. Gayatri mantra says that the Guru is like the Sun, who removes the ignorance–darkness by knowledge-light that initiates the intelligence. The word Guru Purnima also indicates that Guru removes the darkness-ignorance like the full Moon in the night. Thus, Guru is compared to Sun and Moon, who remove the darkness-ignorance. There is difference between Guru and Satguru. Both preach the correct knowledge only. But, the knowledge preached by Satguru is complete and the knowledge preached by Guru is incomplete. Guru is a human being, well-versed in scriptures. Satguru is the God in human form. The word ‘Guru’ denotes the human form. The word ‘Sat’

Differentiate Satguru & Guru

Differentiate Satguru & Guru In the word Satguru (Lord in human form), the prefix ‘Sat’ means truth. A Satguru always preaches the truth. Truth is always harsh and is not liked by several people. Therefore a Satguru will have only very few disciples. A Satguru says that the path with thorns will lead to the Lord. People will not like this. He also says that the path with flowers leads to hell. People will not be happy with this preaching. A Guru preaches which several people like. The Guru says that the nature of the goal will be the nature of the path. Since the Lord is full of bliss the path also must be with flowers giving happiness. Since the hell is giving you lot of pain the path with thorns which also gives lot of pain must lead to the hell. This argument is very attractive.  Several people will like this and will become the followers of Guru. Several people will praise him and give lot of Guru Dakshina because his argument is pleasant. But a Satguru says that the path with

शासनात् त्राणात् शास्त्रम् । That which controls us from pitfalls, through educating us about the universal rules and as a result protects us is shastra - this is Vyakarana definition of shastra. The tattva definition of shastra is चतुर्वर्गफलप्रदायकं शास्त्रम् उच्यते - that which gives us the fruit of chaturvarga. Chaturvarga means Dharma-Artha-Kaama-Moksha. Shastra gives us regulated methods of fulfilling our Kaama (desires) through Artha (Means) with Dharma (Meta Rules based on Universal Order) as the foundation and ultimately attain Moksha or Yoga (Liberation) not just through one but multiple paths. How to use a particular path for Moksha is the subject of Shastra. One can choose a path that is most suitable based on one's disposition. The path of Karma, Saankhya, Music, Performing arts, and even Vaak (speech) etc. can be used for this. Shastra gives a methodical step by step path from Dharma first and to finally Yoga or Moksha ultimately. Paatanjala Ashtanga yoga of Bhagavan

LOVE OF PARENTS SPOIL THEIR CHILDREN DUTY PERFORMED WITHOUT LOVE BRINGS DISCIPLINE IN CHILD O Learned and Devoted Servants of God, A devotee asked “What is the duty of the Parents towards their children and vice-versa?” Swami replied: The duty of the parents towards children is protection from all sides and the duty of children towards parents in their old age is service, which also means protection from all sides. The unfortunate fact is that neither parents nor children can protect any other person since they cannot even protect themselves.  In the effort of protection, there is always the seed of ego. This ego must be eradicated and hence, all the proposals of any human being are disposed by God. The only reason is to remove the ego from the heart of every human being and no other reason is true in the case of God. If the parent or child really likes to protect the child or parent respectively, the only way for that is to pass on this process of protection to God since He alone is c

Always Support Justice & Condemn Injustice

Always Support Justice & Condemn Injustice O Learned and Devoted Servants of God, A devotee asked: “It is very painful to observe the extent of injustice and corruption taking place even in the case of rulers and due to this, the country is going to dogs. A new leader must come to repair this situation. God must do something”.  Swami Replied: It is good that you have responded against the injustice and for the justice. If possible, you should also think the best that can be done by you either by taking up some practical step or by taking up some theoretical step through suggestions and propaganda of right concepts. You should always try to support the justice and condemn the injustice whether it is the case of an individual or a community. Such reaction is very important part of your worship to God. God will be highly pleased by such effort from your side involving in the establishment of justice and destruction of injustice since God feels that this is His primary responsibility t

Why good people are suffering?

Why good people are suffering? Some people say that even good people are unnecessarily harmed. They criticize God. You cannot decide any person as a good person. Did you observe him every minute from his birth? You also think yourself as a good person. Are you aware of your sins done in your childhood? You might have harmed an innocent insect in your childhood. Do you remember that? Even mental feelings are sins, which may not be expressed in words and actions. The feelings of the mind are the source of words and actions. Therefore the feeling may not hurt others today. But tomorrow it will hurt others which will come out in words and actions. In fact, intention is given more importance in the crime according to law. The judge gives more importance to the intention in giving the punishment. You are walking on the road and the ant is killed by your foot, without any intention. There is no punishment for such sins. But when you kill the same ant with intention, you are punished by God. T

Speciality Of Lord Datta & His Best Devotee

Speciality Of Lord Datta & His Best Devotee Generally we do some service to the Lord and expect something good in return from the Lord. This is the norm of the general worldly business. The specialty of Lord Datta is that He announces His policy in the beginning itself. His policy is one-way traffic. You have to do service to Him but He will not do anything good in return. Thus the business completely disappears. At this stage itself majority of the devotees drop out. Some devotees come to Him prepared for doing the service without any good fruit in return. After some time He opens His second policy. This policy is two-way traffic but it is different from our two-way traffic. He starts doing bad for our service. As the devotees press His feet He will be beating them with His stick. This is the true love.  The devotee must have the divine knowledge to understand Lord Datta. By giving such troubles He is clearing all the sins. In clearing the sins He pays ninety-nine percent and the

😊 Truly Amazing way of thinking what we all have to do... 🌽A farmer grew award-winning corn. Each year he entered his corn in the state fair where it won a blue ribbon. One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something interesting about how he grew it. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors. “How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?” the reporter asked. “Why sir,” said the farmer, “didn’t you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbours grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbours grow good corn.” So is with our lives... Those who want to live meaningfully and well must help enrich the lives of others, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to

About my thoughts

About my thoughts =============== I was born a human , but my thoughts came into existence only after a couple of years when I became a child. From there on there has been no break in my thoughts.  I just lived like this through my fantasy filled teens, worried middle ages, disease filled old age and then probably returns to the state of thoughtless nature; like when I was born. And later I will probably return to the same place of my origin upon my death. As pendulum of life swings, it seems that we will return to the state of childhood nature in our old age.  Let's us now analyse the thoughtless nature a little bit in detail. As a child our eyes could be fascinated by a bright coloured toy. We may have played fascinated with it, but after a good sleep, our fascination would have lost. Similarly in our old age, we would be fascinated by some kind of food; let's say. Once either we eat it, or after a good sleep our fascination turns down or is completely lost. Only when we are

The fruits of your work are in the hands of God

The fruits of your work are in the hands of God You should work hard and do your duties to the best of your sincerity. You should only detach from the fruits realizing that the fruits are in the hands of God and not in the law of mechanical system of work and fruits. When you are detached from the fruits through this faith, you are getting two advantages. The first advantage is that you are always energetic since your energy is conserved due to absence of excitement and depression. The second advantage is that you will develop devotion to God, which is not linked to any fruit. The life of devotion is this single point only, which is nothing but that you should not link the devotion to any type of fruit. The fruit should be neither of this world nor of the upper world. You should not love God for getting any fruit in this world or in the upper world. The fruit in the upper world is generally the protection from the hell. This fruit of the upper world is generally focused in the old age.

I have always had concerns over many of the translations and presentations of the narakas.  These seem to be much more oriented toward a Christian view than a Hindu view.  Additionally, it appears to go against the foundation of Hinduism, and brings in major philosophical issues and conflicts.

MOST ESSENTIAL AND COMPLICATED CONCEPTS

MOST ESSENTIAL AND COMPLICATED CONCEPTS  Contemporary Incarnation & Sacrifice of Fruit of Work O Learned and Devoted Servants of God,  In the entire spiritual knowledge meant for humanity, the most essential and the most complicated concepts are only two. One is the contemporary human incarnation (God in human form who is alive in this world now) and the other is the sacrifice of fruit of the work (Karmaphala Tyaga). The Gita gives stress on these two points projecting Krishna as the contemporary human incarnation in that time. The first concept brings the unimaginable God Himself before your eyes to see and talk to clarify your doubts in the spiritual knowledge. Spiritual knowledge is the most important field of knowledge because it deals with your faith beyond this world. Everybody is in utter confusion and in maximum fear regarding the unknowable future of the soul after death.  Any extent of success, wealth, health, enjoyment, fame, etc., has no significance at all because the

God's Management of deeds of a soul

God's Management of  deeds of a soul         God acts as Father as well as the teacher (Guru) in the case of any soul.  Since God created the soul, He is the Father.  But at the same time He is the teacher who trains every soul to come up in the spiritual path.  Generally in the world the father is different since teacher is separate.  But here in the case of any soul the real Father and the real teacher is only one and that is God.  Therefore, God is always kind as Father and is strict and harsh as teacher.  But the harshness of the teacher is apparent only and in reality the harshness is kindness only.  Hence, basically God is always kind.  God appears harsh as the teacher and appears kind as Father.   Since, the teacher is basically kind even in his harsh attitude also, God is always kind in reality or in the basic sense.  The souls have done continuous sins and continuous good deeds and if the results are to be given based on the same sequence and span of time, there will be co
