In the mantra below, is the grammar correct in the last part?

In the mantra below, is the grammar correct in the last part? Shouldn't it be गुरुवाय instead of गुरुवे ?  Also, the translation doesn't look perfect to me, conveying only the crude meaning. Krishnamurthi CG

गो means cow.

गो means cow. Does it also mean light or sun?
