This is an important piece of article for us to think deep. The role of language in our future narratives, say in about 10-20 years time frame  is what is touched upon in this article. My take is that - if we need to become a society of true intellectuals we need to communicate the depths of our shastra in our own mother tongue - which I suppose is not difficult as all our mother tongues have sufficient Sanskrit words to convey the message much easier very close to Sanskrit. When I say our shastra - think in the lines of various scientific undercurrents intertwined with our Samskriti (loosly culture), vyavahara /laukika dharma (meta rules), mulyataa (value system) , purushartha (life's purpose ), vividhyam (diversity), darshana (meta physical philosophy), sarvam brahmamayam (pantheistic outlook), etc. Earlier on another occasion I wrote about some of the scholar Pravachana karta - such as Sri. A question was asked as to the nature of happiness. M.: If a man thinks that his happiness is due to external causes and his possessions, it is reasonable to conclude that his happiness must increase with the increase of possessions and diminish in proportion to their diminution. Therefore if he is devoid of possessions, his happiness should be nil. What is the real experience of man? Does it conform to this view? Some points on Vedic interpretations

Some points on Vedic interpretations (Based on dialogues in PoR community.. :D) There is a great level of difference in the philosophy of Early Upanishads and later Upanishads. The later Upanishads are only namesake ones, created by Hindu interpolators of different sects. The true Upanishads support Vedas strictly, and quote Vedas everywhere. The much later treatises like Uddhava Gita or Ashtavakra Gita are just interpolations of Buddhism into the religion, much like their contemporary puranas taking Buddha and Rishabhadeva (and even Kapila) as incarnations... This was paralleled in Sramanic religions by taking Rama and Vasudeva as "Jinas". (Yes!!!) For the ones who do not know history or scriptures, they are free to tell anything; but an impartial reader should give respect to the knowledgeable ones. Some humour I had on PoR     :D By which reason do these (scholars) interpret the same words in Upanishads as spiritual and Vedas as mythical mucks? That's bigotry.. just a work of "scholastic excellence".. :D !!!! Kudos to the great minds! He is a Veda /Mimamsa Professor in Madras Sanskrit College. He is also the visiting faculty of Mimamsa /Veda Bhashya in Sampoornananda Samskrit Vishvavidyalaya, Varanasi, Ujjain Vedic University. He also teaches in the traditional way in Rajamandri Veda Gurukulam, Tenali Veda-Shastra Patashala, etc. He is in the panel of Judges in the prestigious "Vaakyaartha sabha" /"Vidvat sabhaa" conducted by Srigeri Mutt and Kanchi Mutt. Sanyasis, rational thinking

Sanyasis, rational thinking People say, sanyasis are not aware of physics laws or scientific progress. They are locked down in caves, in a lonely atmosphere. Good for nothing. They simply say they know God. There are some other people who claim that the sanyasis know everything that's known and unknown to humanity. I tend to believe truth is somewhere between. To those who oppose knowledge gained by sanyasis, and to those who prefer scientific analysis for everything, I have to ask only one thing. Has science known everything? Well no. You will reach a state of no answer in any path of scientific knowledge. As man is limited, so is his knowledge. Science has its limitations, it's in its path to finding more and more discoveries, but to understand an aspect such as mind which is kind of black box as far as science is concerned what scientific equipment/method can be used? To those people who praise everything old, out of imagination is really bad. These are people who won't
