As an eagle weary after soaring in the sky, folds its wings and flies down to rest in its nest; so does the shining Self enters the state of dreamless sleep where one is freed from all desires.
As a person when in the arms of a beloved, is not aware of what is within and what is without. So is with a person who is in union with the Self --- unknown of what is within and what is without. There is no desire to be fulfilled and one goes beyond sorrows.
In that state of oneness, there is neither thief nor monk, neither worlds nor gods not even scriptures, no low no high. The self is beyond good and evil, beyond all the suffering of human heart.
In that state of oneness, one speaks without speaking, for nothing is separate from him.. one sees without seeing, for nothing is separate from him.. one hears without hearing, for nothing is separate from him.. one knows without knowing, for nothing is separate from him..
Where there is oneness, one without a second, that is the world of Brahman. This is the supreme goal of life, the supreme treasure, the supreme joy.
