Sambamurthi Balachander Many thanks sir. The many translations i have seen of this text is a mere word to word one. I am looking for a translation that conveys a more deep philosophical meaning understandable by common man.
ReplyDeleteFor example this is a translation available in ramakrishna mission website. http://www.rkmdelhi.org/videos/guru-ashtakam-of-adi-shankaracharya/
Though this serves the purpose of translation, its hard to understand the real reason which Adi Shankaracharya would have intended. Your opinions are welcome as to what format the translation should be.
Ok I will give it a try and get back
ReplyDeleteSambamurthi Balachander Oh Thank you
