Congratulations to Vamadeva for his upcoming Chandrasekarendra National Eminence Award in India, coming later this month. This is quite prestigious and I cannot think of more deserving person.     I have met Sri. Vamadeva Shastri once in Ramanashram, Tiruvannamalai. A very simple person, who came there to visit the Ramanashram archives for accessing some works of Sri. Kavya Kanta Ganapathy Shastrigal. Sri .Kavya Kanta Ganapathy Sastrigal was a great Veda /Vedanta scholar par excellence. Once Mahatma Gandhi came to listen to his speech due to insistence of Pandit Madan Mohan Malavya - such a great scholar was Sri. Ganapathy Sastrigal. His works are published now and are available in 7 volume set.  Such a great scholar's works are being studied by Sri. Vamadeva Sastri (Dr. David frawley) is a good thing. Dr. Frawley is a well deserving person for this award.
