"vaidika-surya-namaskaaraH" - "वैदिकसूर्यनमस्कारः"
"arunaprashnaH" (अरुणप्रश्नः) also knowns as "surya-namaskaara mantraH" is an important mantra in Vedas, considered with the same level of veneration as that of Rudram, Chamakam, Purusha-suktam, Sri-suktam, etc. The entire "arunaprashnaH" (अरुणप्रश्नः) also knowns as Surya Namaskara Mantram is in the first prashnaH of Taitriya aaranyakam of Krishnayajur-veda.
In this "arunaprashnaH" (अरुणप्रश्नः) (also knowns as "surya-namaskaara mantraH") there are 132 "panchaasatiH" (paragraph) spread in 30 "anuvaakaH" (hymn). When this mantra is recited, at the end of each "panchaasatiH" (total 132) or each "anuvaakaH" (total 30) it is in our samskriti to offer one "ardha suryanamaskara", facing east and chanting "chhaaya-suvarchalaamba sameda-shri-suryanarayana-swamine namaH".
The "ardha suryanamakara" consists of 1). praNaama-asana, 2). hasta-uttaana-asana, 3). parvata-asana, 4). ashTanga-namaskara-asana, 5). urdhva-praNaama-asana, 6). praNaama-asana in one single synchronous motion.
I have also attached a Youtube link for this "arunaprashnaH" by Challakere Brothers - considered the best Vedic chanting by Vedic pundits.
