Friends,
It is heartening to see the latest happenins on Sanskrit - such as the Bhasha being revived on many accounts - Renewed interest in Sanskrit towards using it as a tool for Computational Linguistics, NLP, etc - which Germans, French and also Americans spearheading this initiatives, Similarly there are many dedicated  Websites, Blogs and Discussion forums for Sanskrit, International Digital Sanskrit Manuscript library project, etc., New interest in Sanskrit by Non-resident Indians, more student enrollments to Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, many Manuscripts being unearthed, finally the Indus valley script being accepted as Sanskrit, etc. etc. etc.

But what we can't and shouldn't forget is that "भाष्यते इति भाषा" (spoken is language) so we need more speakers of Sanskrit - at all levels - Spoken sanskrit (सम्भाषणसंस्कृतम्), Oratory /Pravachana Sanskrit (भाषणसंस्कृतम्), Literary Sanskrit (composing slokas instantly, competition etc,) - काव्यसंस्कृतम्-गद्यपद्यरचना and finally the shastric spoken Sanskrit (शास्त्रीयसंस्कृतम्) used in Vaakyaartha sabhaas or Vidvat sadas etc. Our true Edge compared to others is in using Sanskrit as a Language - not just a tool like mathematics.

So far some of us are using it as a tool - while studying and practicing Ayurveda or Jyotisha or Yoga or Linguistics or Vaastu, etc. Side-by-side if we learn to speak, converse and write in this great language then we can progress much faster in our respective discipline of studies as well as get a wider scientific view or Integral view of Sanskrit - our thoughts can also get shaped and we can contemplate and reflect like our forefathers - original scientific thinkers. Samskrita Bharati is offering this wonderful gift - the Bhasha - free of cost - if one utilises this offer and starts speaking this language - then a new world opens in-front of him/her - this has been my personal experience.

I welcome your idea. Even if not fully, in between we can share in Sanskrit.

I don't mind answering questions whatever I can, rest I shall seek guidance from Scholars - we shall see as we progress.
