    to change the indian medium from english to sanskrit is virtually impossible. the fund that is needed and the research needs a lot lot of fund, which the present govt is not willing to do

    unless we have a hindu govt, its only dream. lets vote for BJP, may be in the next 15 years we may see sanskrit as a compulsory language

    doing by govt. is waiting for long... we as citizens of india are also capable of doing. but we have not proven ourselves in this millenia...

    will you if you were rich,., its quite natural... we cannot blame everyone though... the only thing that should bind us is good thoughts... and it should be part of learning (whether it be rich or poor who learns it)

I have been thinking recently about our state of temples.

I have been thinking recently about our state of temples. They have changed their forms from being cultural and binding factors to just business centres. mostly people who are visiting the temples are doing mechanical things. how can we revive the temples as discussion forums for arts, culture, social responsibilities from being just "transactional" in nature. there are satsangas being organized in the temples, but they just follow the bhakthi movement. how can we revive usage of sanskrit, learning of vedas, and then to create a more responsible generation than ours? ideas are welcome...
