    HISTORIANS PUT IT "VEDAS ARE ONLY 1500 YERAS OLD APPROXIMATELY..BUT IF WE GO BY HINDU DATES THE VEDAS ARE MORE THAN 3000 YEARS OLD . HOWEVER SO FAR NO ONE HAS CORRECTLY DATED THE VEDAS.

    Have you read the article in which i have pointed to this post. It says dating based on linguistics are only approximate (and it may never be achieved).

    The inquiry has to go on. In Scientific inquiry, you take the current argument and find a weakness in it. But you have to come with a better argument. We can be sure, many Indians are trying to come up with better arguments. There is no success so far. We still believe that Mahabharata took place during 3000 BC and Vedas are definitely there during that period. So the important point establishing dates Hastinapur and Indraprastha. I read that they found Harappa period artifacts near Hastinapur also. But I have not come across any further development based on it.
