Thanks to Dr.
Thanks to Dr. Sundara Rajan we are knowing the good facts. Vruksha Ayurveda (Botany) is the subject matter of the video.
As Dr says "Don't be a snub/fanatic. Try to learn what our ancestors knew and try to prove us to be their worthy descendants. Don't believe in all fantastic stories, what can be proved today, that itself is too huge."

Thanks for this post. My original starting point for studying Sanskrit was infact Vrkshayurveda. I got hold of Krishiparasara, Kashyapa krishisukti, and many other books in this field of studies. I have also practically experimented some ideas. What is so surprising is that Ayurveda is oriented more towards Saankhyaa and Nyaya dharshana, but Vrkshayurveda is very closely connected to Veda and Upanishad.
ReplyDeleteIs this book available for sale, in India?
ReplyDeleteThere are many books - many are not printed anymore. Some earlier unpublished ones are brought out by Asian Agro History Foundation, Hyderabad. Search in the Net - you can eBook copies.
ReplyDeleteRishi. Surapaala has written a book with the title "Vrkshayurveda" - that is easily available. Maharshi Bharadvaaja's "Vrkshayurveda" is out of print. The same way Maharshi Kashyapa's Krishisukti is also out of print. I have copies of them
ReplyDeleteOk, let me find them. It would be best gift to my uncle.... Thanks for the pointers
