Spiritually successful people.. who are they ??
Want to understand how to know our spiritual progress..
In our materialistic world. Whom we call successful ? One who gets enough money for himself and his family. Who is contended.
There are multiple ways to say that a person is successful right.
Now how and what parameters you use to say some one is spiritually successful ??
Is vairagya, a ditachmement to this world a measurement ? Or getting some siddhis is a measure ? Or getting a deep knowledge in either astrology or music or something else is a measure ??
My question to be presice is that.. how do u know that you are making some spiritual progress ??

Let me know your thoughts..
While typing this article itself and a believer of advaita i get a feel of there's no 2 worlds material and spiritual. Both are one though not 100 % sure :) . My spiritual life should completely get in sync with my material world i believe.

I have been thinking recently about our state of temples.

I have been thinking recently about our state of temples. They have changed their forms from being cultural and binding factors to just business centres. mostly people who are visiting the temples are doing mechanical things. how can we revive the temples as discussion forums for arts, culture, social responsibilities from being just "transactional" in nature. there are satsangas being organized in the temples, but they just follow the bhakthi movement. how can we revive usage of sanskrit, learning of vedas, and then to create a more responsible generation than ours? ideas are welcome...
