If I were to relate the basics of this universe, time, matter and space.

If I were to relate the basics of this universe, time, matter and space. 3 things out of this the entire manifestation takes place right? Which God you would relate them to? Bhrama to time, vishnu to matter, space to shiva ? I don't mean this is something which was told already in vedas, But just for an argument sake. :)
We can drop this blog whenever you guys think that this approach of thinking is wrong..!

  1. Fresh thoughts are always welcome. I definitely think we can relate. Time started for us with creation. So we can associate brahma with time. Matter is what is seen, is required for survival. In this context you may attach Vishnu and the forms as matter. The universe is what is infinite, based on the story of brahma and Vishnu trying to reach head and leg of Shiva, it shows infinity. So you may relate it to Shiva. But someone can relate differently.

  2. The universe is what - in Sanskrit it is called as "prapancha" - pra+pancha. Pancha is pancha bhoota, pra stands for poshanam (enriching). Universe, Space and Time all are just Adhikarana in Sanskrit - means - "Locus" and /or "Referential points or state". They really don't exist (this is not Vedanta but science). Let me explain this.

How do you measure time? - based on Sun rise and Sun set (an international clock on GMT etc.). In reality does the sun rise ? or does it set? - so something that appears to be happening from a referential point - the Earth, is taken for all calculations - without which our worldly affairs are not possible.

The same way space (land) - that is divided into East, West etc. - this is again depending on the assumption that sun raises, etc.

So in reality, what really exists ??
