Complete Bhagavadgita - lectures on all slokas in simple English by Swami Paramarthananda Saraswati. Swami Paramarthananda Saraswati, a disciple of Swami Dayananda Saraswati and Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati, has been giving lectures on Vedanta, in Chennai for the past 30 years. He has firmly ignored many calls by devotees to start an Ashramam all these years and lives in a small 2 BHK apartment which he bought for his mother much before his Sannyaasa.
He formally studied in a Gurukula paramparaa - Veda, Sanskrit, Shastra, Smriti granthas. He has released (informally to his students) a hand-written notes (a 30-40 page booklet) on Upasarga, which I got hold of two years back and still refer, his scholarship in Sanskrit vyakarana amazing. He is the teacher of Swami Omkaranandaji (Theni) and also Swami Guruparanandaji.
During 2012, I had the opportunity to personally visit Swamiji's house and got his blessings and also had a long one-to-one discussion on "Sabdabrahma"
He is referred to as a Calculus teacher in Arsha Vidya Gurukulam circles - because of his ability to explain even the most complex Vedanta sutras in a step-by-step manner like maths in simple English language.

ReplyDeleteThe same way Swamiji has given a lecture on Brahmasutra for 7 years - does anyone have the recordings ??
This is atheistic poison. I started listening to his lecture on verses 10.8-12, but hearing him say the material universe is a transformation of the Lord is deeply repulsive aparadha, even for me. I hated hearing that nonsense and had to quickly turn it off.

Is his wretched idea that Brahman is changeable, or that the Lord is different from and inferior to Brahman?
