I have been thinking recently about our state of temples. They have changed their forms from being cultural and binding factors to just business centres. mostly people who are visiting the temples are doing mechanical things. how can we revive the temples as discussion forums for arts, culture, social responsibilities from being just "transactional" in nature. there are satsangas being organized in the temples, but they just follow the bhakthi movement. how can we revive usage of sanskrit, learning of vedas, and then to create a more responsible generation than ours? ideas are welcome...
It's am interesting perspective, which is real. Unlike or modern day authors, or rishis are great in passing messages to those open for change. It's only that we fail to understand the meaning.
ReplyDeleteGood post but wat about ram sethu? Nasa images also proves it. . And recently they had put the data given by valmiki in Planatory software and found they got an exact match of all the dates. .. You can guess only one day like that but not series o events
ReplyDeleteThe post doesnt mean that Ramayana did not happen in the past, it means that each occurrence can be deciphered in our lives as well to give us a pleasant life. At least that is what I took out of the article.
ReplyDeleteEven I took it positively and even I used to think that it was just a gr8 story written by valmiki but we can't just ignore the evidences....and if valmiki had written it the way it is described in this article then it was a mere coincidence
ReplyDeleteno, i dont say its coincidence. there are authors who can write in a way which conveys a normal meaning, and a deeper meaning. most of our scriptures are like that.
